The Your Health Matters Team for the Keswick and Solway area were out and about last week promoting the power of Occupational Therapy (OT) within 5 surgeries across their primary care network (PCN).
This was in collaboration with other Occupational Therapy community services (Community Rehab Therapy Team and Intermediate Care Service).
The team visited the surgeries with incentives of 'Green snacks and cups' to encourage Practice surgery staff ‘to take a break from their occupations to learn more about occupational therapy'.
The surgeries visited were: The Croft Surgery at Kirkbide , Aspatria Medical Group Health centre, Caldbeck Surgery, Dalston Medical Group and Silloth Group Medical Practice
Big well done to all involved for helping with the education of these important specialised teams within primary care.
