As part of the North Cumbria Protected Learning Time (PLT) session this week Eden Primary Care Network (PCN) hosted a successful menopause training session for staff.
This Follows on from Primary Care Services North Cumbria's Workforce and Wellbeing work, which took place throughout 2023,
The session was very well received and supported by the 10 practices across the Eden area.
Primary Care Services North Cumbria Project Manager Sam Gargett said: "It’s fantastic to see a continued focus on our workforce wellbeing here in North Cumbria and a commitment to our People Promise Programme of work that will be undertaken over the next 12 months.
"This is something which all of our Primary Care Networks here in North Cumbria have signed up too helping to support workforce wellbeing."
Protected learning time is very important to surgeries as it allows practitioners and staff to keep up to date with best practice to help continuously improve their patient care and services.
