A Regional People Promise Showcase event took place in Newcastle this month with the NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) and organisations from across the region and NHS England.
Primary Care Services North Cumbria Project Manager, Sam Gargett, People Promise Manager Kirsty Jay and Communications and Media Project Manager Paul Day attended the event, representing primary care in North Cumbria.
A variety of stories were shared from speakers about a variety of initiatives to help support staff wellbeing and staff retention. This included a talk from our team highlighting some of the work carried out with staff across primary care organisations in North Cumbria.
There was also an amazing talk from the truly inspirational Andy Walker.
