A new GP programme in Cumbria launches in October and aims to inspire a generation of GP trainees and newly qualified GPs to be inspired leaders, with the insight and connections they need to change and improve the system in which they work.
Invites for applications to the 'Next Generation GP - Cumbria' programme have been sent to early career GPs and GP trainees offering fully funded places. The main part of the programme consists of five evening events which combines online live-streamed sessions, as well as specific face-to-face sessions in North Cumbria.
Supported by Training Hubs in North and South Cumbria the programme's speaker line up will share stories from varied backgrounds and provide attendees with details of their journey as well as various "pearls of wisdom”.
